Lab access is restricted, but training is available to University of Florida students, both in the Chemistry Department and outside the department. Please contact Dr. Bailey for more information or fill out the training request form. For DSC user operation, TGA training is also required.

Currently, out-of-department users cannot be granted building keys for afterhours access. Non-chemistry users should be sure to conduct all experimentation during normal weekday business hours (ca. Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm).

Training is being scheduled according to the schedule below. Days are subject to change depending on the manager’s semester schedule. We are beta-testing a booking system for faster training times. Please anticipate 30-60 minute trainings. A scheduling availability form will be sent to prospective trainees after completing the training request form so a suitable training time block can be scheduled. For faster training scheduling, all general availability should be indicated.
