Sample visualization

Request Training

One of the most basic pieces of scientific equipment used to visualize small or microscopic materials. A polarized light source illuminates a glass slide containing some material. A rotating set of lenses magnifies the material 4 – 100 times. A digital camera allows image capture to easy to create images for publications, qualifying exams, and/or dissertations.
