Solvent purification helps reduce water and general organic contamination. Many solvents can be purified multiple times prior to final disposal, allowing for greener chemistry. Extending solvent lifetime also helps alleviate laboratory costs.

While the solvent purification system is primarily available for Butler Polymer Lab users and faculty, bulk solvent may be available at cost. Please contact Dr. Bailey to see if solvent purchase is available.
