A steady temperature gradient allows for safe heating without temperature spiking. The vacuum allows for efficient removal of water or solvent for faster material drying. An inline vacuum trap captures hazardous chemical components to prevent exposure into the surrounding environment.

Often used for general material drying, determination of moisture content (mass before and after oven drying), and/or controlled heating and incubation.

Please note, users should bring their own liquid nitrogen for the vacuum trap.
